The Royal Decree 214/2025 establishes the obligation to calculate the carbon footprint and to develop Reduction Plans for large companies and institutions in Spain, and promotes registration in the Carbon Footprint, Compensation and Carbon Dioxide Absorption Projects Register of MITECO (OECC).
For those organisations that, in addition to reducing, seek to offset part of their emissions and register this action in Section C of the Register (as permitted by RD 214/2025), the ENCE absorption projects registered in Section B are the ideal solution.
